Playa Hermosa is situated on the Nicoya Peninsula, one of the most beautiful and diverse areas of the country. Quiet beaches, small villages, forests, exotic wildlife, and a unique cultural mix make it an exciting place to visit. There are two main seasons, green season (May-November), and high season (December-April). Both seasons average 88 degrees, and surfing is great year round.
